In the framework of the Cluster of Cooperation Conéctate A+, CONDESAN, the Mountain Research Initiative (MRI) and The University of Zurich are pleased to invite you to the online conference: Climate Change, Health and Mountain Ecosystems and their Governance in Support of Sustainable Development in the Tropical Andes – Central America Region (Andes+), to be held from July 7-8, 2020.
This conference aims to facilitate the exchange of disciplinary and interdisciplinary research and practices relevant to overcoming the barriers that impede the successful implementation of sustainable development and climate adaptation policies in the Andes+ region. Conference sessions comprise Keynote Speeches, Parallel Sessions, a Special Session, and two Roundtables all exploring – from an interdisciplinary perspective— the interactions between climate change, mountain ecosystems and health.
In consideration of the different time zones of participants involved the foreseen schedule is: 13:00 UTC to 18:00 UTC (8:00 – 13:00 Lima, Quito and Bogotá time, 7:00 – 12:00 San Salvador time, or 15:00 – 20:00 Zurich time). The detailed program of the conference is available here.
