Presentations by co-authors of the latest IPCC report
Climate change has multiple impacts on all sectors of the Andes that encompass both socioeconomic factors and natural variables. However, the attribution of changes in socio-ecological systems is not always clear and many uncertainties can limit their understanding. In addition, poor data availability and knowledge gaps limit especially the understanding of impacts on Andean aquatic systems. These issues will be addressed by two co-authors of the latest IPCC 2022 report for the Andean region.
This webinar is open to the public. It is especially addressed to scientific institutions and researchers (ECR) from Switzerland and the Andes+ region with a thematic interest in climate change, ecosystems and health.
