The objective of this workshop is to initiate a regional research network covering all countries with high Andean tropical peatlands. The IAI will support the participation of 5 to 7 consortia with research teams from Latin America and the Caribbean for a maximum of 3 years, with the possibility of requesting an extension of 1 year at no cost, depending on the availability of funds. The grant period would start in January 2023.
